Not referring to HIG. It's only stating my personal opinion/feeling/impression.
The splash screen color scheme doesn't come back in application (except we are
using a dark theming/dark mode). I personally would consider a different
background. Maybe something like this:

However, I'm only a single person.. without much say in the matter anyhow..

There is another issue (if we keep the dark splash screen), something should be
done about the font color. Text is showing in the splash screen, but it can't
be read.  Another alternative: remove the loading progress text all together..
