All your paragraphs have different PS. The mentioned CS is used on all three
occurrences of "This → is a Path..." and changing the font size, for example,
formats the text as expected.

Yes, removing attributes is not possible, bug 89826. And Standard takes the
attributes from the parent, bug 128469, which is not the fact for CS so it's
not working here.
