We discussed the topic in the design meeting. First of all, the use case is a
bit far-fetched as such complex formatting is unlikely (and not recommended).
Since any solution is wrong and has probably a lot of exceptions, the best and
most transparent way is to take the formatting from the first character. As
implemented, so resolving as NAB.
