I just used mail merge to address envelopes with LO 7.0.2 in Linux Mint 20. It
works perfectly.

It would be improved if the fields displayed using the data immediately hid the
blank lines. I thought the 'Don't show blank lines' checkbox had no effect and
spent an hour looking for a method of suppressing them.

I decided to print to file as a single file and saw that blank line suppression
had been working all the time.
