I'm sorry that you feel like this. Be assured we discuss all requests carefully
and always balance benefit vs effort and drawbacks. Consider that many users
wish their personal workflow would be easier and custom-tailored. We have to
focus on what exactly the feature is meant for and keep it simple for the
majority.

You can always disagree with the decision and reopen the ticket. The UX people
just give recommendations. And if there is no developer interested in realizing
the request you are also free to implement it yourself, I would even help with
code pointers. We are open source, it's your project as it is ours.

It has the disadvantage that you are not aware of the actual configuration. The
idea has been discussed several times, see bug 128781 or bug 72080.
