... but thinking further on this, I suppose that unconditional display of the
infobar could still make sense. One could overlook the existing changes when
opening a large document before sending, even if the changes are shown; so
informing using an infobar looks safer (and yes, I realize that this would
still not address the original problem raised here, so it should either be
configurable, or a weighed decision comparing pro and contra).
