Good.

Please elaborate your logic.

Meanwhile, some counter-arguments.

1. In relation to documentation:
   - cannot find any instances of "Numbered List Style" or
"Bulleted List Style" in the current online help.
   - "numbered list styles" and "bulleted list styles" appear only one time
each in Writers Guide 6.4 (i.e., not a big revision task)

2. In light of previous point: why introduce a new phrase that is likely to
create unnecessary confusion with "style" and "list style" ?

3. (from point 5, comment 0): "Numbered List" and "Bulleted List" should remain
unchanged.

4. (from point 4, comment 2): Refer to different "types" of "Bulleted list" or
different "types" of "Numbered list". But "types" does not have to be a
"technical word" (see next point).

5. (from point 3, comment 2): Use adjectives to refer to lists. For example,
Roman Numbered List, alphabetic numbered List. In that case (in
documentation), one could refer to different "kinds" of numbered list.

In sum, the idea is: The UI, tooltips and documentation should only use the
word "style" in relation to LO Styles (Paragraph, Character, List, etc.)

Possibly this principle is a little artificial or stiff, but then there is no
ambiguity about when/whether the UI/documentation is referring to Styles -- as
opposed to direct formatting.

-- and points 4 and 5 show that it is not so difficult -- in documentation --
to refer to different types or kinds of bulleted or numbered lists -- nor is it
a handicap that one should not use styles in those situations.
