I don't see Custom Slideshow (.uno:CustomShowDialog) in the standard toolbar.
And it is not disabled but provides access to the dialog where you pick one of
the predefined shows and use Start to run it. 

No objection to add a new UNO command that lists the options and runs directly.
But as you said, it's a rarely used function and not really worth the effort,
IMHO.
