1. This isn't about the "About" menu, this is about cleaning up the "Help"
menu.
2. You mentioned Google Chrome - Chrome's Help menu only has 3 submenu items,
whereas LibreOffice has 12 - exactly the reason why some submenu items should
be moved elsewhere.
2. Google Chrome is a browser and VLC Media Player is a media player - those
applications have significantly lower everyday use of features compared to
LibreOffice, which has a lot of features in its menus, and whose success relies
on its users knowing how to use many of those features to produce work-level
content.
