What is not clear between the two parts is how the listbox of radio buttons for
JRE/JDK present relate to the action user needs to take with the checkbox to
configure use of Java within LibreOffice.

The label should hint the action--i.e. when Java use is checked enabled, to
make a selection from this list of JRE/JDK (of the right flavor) that
LibreOffice has found on this system.

Mike's 'A list of Java runtime environments (JRE) already installed:' omits the
"make a selection".  And we depend on the use of radio buttons on the list
elements to hint that just one be selected.

Finding a string to convey that--while remaining translatable--is the ask.

IMHO, just keep the current but append " (select one):"

And related, add the "No JREs were found on your system!" to the list box
rather than changing the label.
