The "Default Paragraph Style" is just a random style on top of all other (if
you don't configure another top-level style). We put some effort recently into
the renaming of "Default" into their specific name like "Default Page Style".
"Basic" would be another random name. While shorter it is less clear, is
associated with macros, and ultimately the opposite of bug 47295 to make Text
Body the default - not in terms of what is on top of the tree but what is used
for new pagraphs.
Putting all together => WF.
