The topic was on the agenda of the design meeting but didn't receive further
input. 
Although it's an unclear function for most users, barely used by anyone, and
thereby clearly a usability flaw I'm going to resolve the ticket as WF now
since the discussion is quite old and several changes were made meanwhile.
