Ok, ignoring the bad 2 character hyphenation in the example I gave, there
should be no hyphenation of the last word in a paragraph. It is a typographic
standard and I think you should support it, regardless of the alignment.

Please see attachment - Adobe InDesign (pretty much the standard for
publishing) offers that option.
