It is not required to word the option limited to Latin (not sure why Latin is
here): you simply can apply the numbering chosen for this level to higher
levels shown here; and that would likely be the only thing that users might
want: e.g., it's reasonable to expect that users want *either* original
numbering in upper levels prefix, *or* current scheme, but not some third
option.

I do not see any problem in having that checkbox like "apply numbers of this
level to shown sublevels" nest to "show sublevels" box.
