One question is whether we should enhance the web view mode with reading mode
features (or abuse the mode) or introduce a new view mode (which would be
orthogonal to the idea of web vs. normal mode).

But first we should discuss if such a low contrast reading mode is worth the
effort. Document background and font color can be set via tools > options >
application colors and the actual task is probably to just switch it per
shortcut. Plus, to enable/disable some UI elements. To me it all sounds rather
worth an extension.
