Under Slide > Master Elements... you find the checkboxes. Sufficient for its
purpose, IMO. Do you agree?

The "Master Slide" dropdown is empty since you have access to it via the slide
pane. In normal mode you can pick one of the master slides here and apply it to
the current slide. We could hide the disabled controls. Is it needed?
