CorelDRAW provides a different method that helps to guide the placement of
nodes or points when using a polyline or curve (Bezier) tool. Cues (similar to
tool tips) appear to indicate when the mouse pointer is over an edge of another
object, a node of another object, an intersection, or a quadrant.

This might be a better approach that trying to snap to intersection.
