The topic was on the agenda of the design meeting but did not receive further
input.

The request has an unclear use case: selecting all text with a certain
formatting should have some purpose, which likely has alternative/better ways
to achieve. The F&R way to "select all text with the same formatting" is
efficient and clear enough. It has been decided in the past to suggest this
workflow.
