My understanding of bug #91415 and the motivation for the patch was that
zooming out makes the comment indicator overly large.

Alternatively to the requested revert I can offer to make the triangle a bit
smaller and to adjust it in different steps, eg. not growing further above n
pixels. Though not blocking, if the decision is to revert.
