            Bug ID: 153788
Summary: Calc Tabbed UI toolbar area partially hidden,
                    depending on Accessibility settings
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 7.4.3.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Keywords: needsUXEval
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: UI
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: adylo811517 at gmail.com
                CC: libreoffice-ux-advise at lists.freedesktop.org

I have seen several similar bug reports (relatively recently), but they differ
in some detail, or in the specific toolbar, or they have been closed as fixed
(while this is still repro in master alpha+ ATM)

Module: Calc
UI: Tabbed (also in Tabbed Compact)
Tabs: Home, Data and View

Depending on OS's *Accessibility* settings, the toolbar is cropped, trimmed,
incomplete, partially hidden.

The toolbar is displayed from left to right, up until somewhere in the middle.
A lot of the right side of the toolbar is hidden, as if there were not enough
available space.

I can unhide it, but it will be partially hidden again after I save and close
each file. The next time I open the already-saved file, I have to unhide the
half-hidden toolbar area again. The same goes for new workbooks.

With a new empty workbook open, I unhide the half-hidden toolbar, open a second
new workbook (without closing the first one), and the toolbar is half-hidden in
the 2nd new workbook too. So this happens per file/workbook and per open-file
action, even without closing Calc.

Now, the particular detail regarding accessibility...

In Windows configuration settings, in Accessibility, there is a slider to make
the system text/fonts look bigger (e.g. 150%) or smaller. Making it "smaller"
(e.g. 100%), the problem with the half-hidden toolbar area in Calc goes away,
and the toolbar is displayed as expected.

Making the OS's text/fonts look bigger (e.g. 150%, or more, YMMV), the
half-hidden toolbar area problem returns.

I want to emphasize, I am talking about the text size slider, not the screen %
(fixed during these tests at 125%, recommended for me), not screen resolution,
not dpi, not zoom, not...

Notes:
* Just in case, FYI, you have to actually apply the OS's accessibility setting
in order to see its effect. It is not enough to just move the slider.
* In my tests, LO was closed while I modified the OS's accessibility settings.
Only after applying the new setting, I started LO Calc again.
* I usually have the text slider at 150%. I modified it to 100% on purpose and
temporarily just for this test (in order to check whether the problem goes
away; it does!).
* The behavior is most evident in the tabs: Home, Data and View of the "Tabbed"
toolbar and in the Home tab of the "Tabbed Compact" toolbar.
* I have not tested different Calc's window sizes, only maximized window.
* This seems evident only in Calc. I have not noticed the same in Writer, but
the reason might only be related to the amount, type and size of the
icons/sections within the respective Tabbed toolbars of each module.

It can be reproduced with:

Version: 7.4.5.1 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 9c0871452b3918c1019dde9bfac75448afc4b57f
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: default; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (es_AR); UI: en-US
Calc: CL

It can also be reproduced with DevBuild:

Version: 7.6.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: dbbfcb7e098c1c16f932785ef62ef7d3d819ad1a
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (es_AR); UI: en-US
Calc: CL threaded

Testing also with _some_ *portable* versions:

* It can _not_ be reproduced with 7.0.0.3
* It can be reproduced with 7.4.3.2. > setting this as version for now.
