Feature is available in Google Docs (see duplicate bug 156488 Description) and
MS Office (see Description here).

I think a context menu item would be an overkill, but could imagine an extra
"Format from selection" button in the Find and Replace dialog, next to the
"Format..." and "No format" buttons.

UX/Design team, what do you think?

(no need to have 156488 in "see also", it's already a duplicate)
