Hm, Alt+Enter works as I expected only if text cursor is in left top or in
right bottom cell of the table.

In first case I inserted the empty paragraph before table and in second -
cursor moved to next paragraph after table.

And this is correct behavior for me. 

If the text cursor in any another cell of the table then Alt+Enter does
nothing.

Could you please describe your problem more detail step-by-step?
