We discussed the topic in the design meeting.

The wish is to have an indicator in what direction the active slide is. Just
pressing up/down scrolls to the active slide if the focus is in the side pane;
and there is an info in the statusbar. Last but not least, implementing
tdf#151170 makes this request obsolete. So we agreed on resolving the request
as WF.
