Could imagine Subtotals to be available on the Pivot wizard under options. But
not sure this is satisfying for you.

Yes. Definitely.


I uploaded the default behavior of google sheet and MS excel just for reference
and point out to the collapsible nature of row groups.

The data is just dummy data I created so that I need share proprietary data on
open forum. I have data that can be grouped by 4 different types of groups
hierarchically.
