Yes, this is what I'm doing at the moment, see here:

But at the moment there is no visual indication which layers won't be printed.
And I still have to manually select the pages I want to print because the
Printing status is for a layer, not a whole page.
Also, I have to manually copy the special form indicating the non-printing page
to a new page when I want to hide it, which isn't that handy because the
special layer has to be unlocked first and then locked again.
It would be so much easier to have an option to hide/unhide a page from
the context menu of the page sidebar like it's possible in Impress.
