Merry Christmas, and being the youngest here, I want a Christmas present. I
want this feature to not eat dust in the master for another 6 months.

Split the patch into smaller patches each doing one unit of work. The work is
done (except for 1-2 minor issues for which I will push the patches by tomorrow
latest).

Once all the patches are merged in 25-2, only a help page would be left.
