Negative numbers in red is a typical use case for finance. Missing your use
case that requires numbers in red for positive value,. And I doubt there is
one, generalizable, so Rafael's advice (easy to get from the Format Code line)
is the recommended way to format. 

Besides, you can always use conditional formatting.
