We discussed the topic in the design meeting.

First of all sorry for not responding in any acceptable time. There should be
at least a thumbs up/down within less than a month. I hope we get there with
new topics.

"Bar" becoming extended to some longer string is the usual autocompletion of
lists; IOW the dropdown has an entry (actually many) starting with BAR. And in
case you need the long text you clearly don't want to type all letters.

We pondered over tooltips, but actually the help should be informative.
Forwarding there to verify the WF decision.
