Actually, I'm not 100% sure.

I definitely want the possibility to have _just_ hatching with no colors (i.e.
black and white only); and it would be nice to have just patterns where the
pattern pixels are black-and-white only.

But colorful hatching is also interesting. I just don't have a good idea of how
to select color+hatch combinations.
