Selection from the 'Number' list box for the current 'Numbering' block
reorganizes the dialog to a layout appropriate for the selection type.

That is unclear UI behavior that might be better served with each
bullet/numbering "mode" (None, Bullet, Graphics, Linked graphics, or
Number--the majority of current lb) chosen/notated by radio button or even
checkbox (though they are exclusive modes/layouts for each).

Having them all together on one listing obscures what choices for each
customization allow.
