No, perhaps I wasn't clear enough. The two icons are visually distinct as
images; but the "Point Edit Mode" button's icon suggests the button
functionality would be editing glue points.

So, currently it's "Point Edit Mode". I've already suggestion a few options:

"Control Point Edit Mode"
"Control/Path Point Edit Mode"
"Vertex & Control Point Edit Mode"
"Vertex Edit Mode"
