Besides the proposals Edit > Redo and Styles > New Style From Selection I could
suggest Edit > Paste Special (Format Only) as another method. Each has it's own
advantage and is suited for a special workflow. Your closest argument to a use
case is that you want consistency over a large spreadsheet and the only way to
achieve this is by using styles. Try and you will see it is not rocket science.
