I think, it is a valid request.

We have similar design already:
Calc: Button "Conditional" -> Manage...
Calc: Button "Insert Special Character" -> More Characters...
Writer: Button "Toggle Unordered List" -> Customize
Writer/Draw/Impress: Button "Insert Table" -> More Options...
Writer: Button "Insert Fields" -> More Fields...
