We discussed the topic in the design meeting.

Additionally to the idea of a special cursor on presentations (which would be
close to an easy hack) it might be desirable to change the cursor depending on
some region. It could be realized by binding the cursor type to a certain
drawing style - and to use a transparent object with this style.
