35% No, keep it opaque
The total number of participants was 17 (out of 952 followers on @libodesign)

=> keep the transparency

I however wonder if we can improve the situation by differentiating between
sticky and temporary comments. If a comment is always shown it would be
reasonable to get an idea of the content behind. But for a tooltip like popup
on mouse hover we could use an opaque background.
