We discussed the topic in the design meeting.
+ totally unrealistic (Stuart)
+ make the black border lines a bit less obtrusive (wodsfort)
+ if implementation isn’t possible it makes sense to go into detail (Andrii)
Improvements to the Tabbed Compact notebookbar are very much welcome. Microsoft
allows to shrink the ribbon in the web interface but collects all hidden items
in some overflow menu. Not so nice (and we do the same). So the proposal stands
to dedicate this flavor to simple tasks and remove all controls but direct
formatting.
Would be a different topic and we rather resolve this idea as WF (also
following comment 16).
During the meeting it was mentioned that tab borders have an overly strong
contrast (Windows, bright theme).
