We discussed the topic in the design meeting.
One proposal was to make the request a pattern and aim for this behavior in
general. In fact most of the actions with a menu have it right now.
Some may hesitate to retire the redo command or the customization and warn
about destructive action (like delete col/row here). This argument was
countered with the undo function and the visual feedback since the icon needs
to change depending on the default action.
