We discussed the topic in the design meeting.
The "advanced timeline", as MSO calls this feature, is a nice addition but
serves an unclear use case. Why would you control the duration of animations
with the mouse, and what benefit comes from seeing the overlap (the sequence is
clear with the list)? But no objection to implement the feature. But please
with an option to disable it.
