Rather a bigger feature to be implemented at several places.. Also, what should
happen if fill/paste/drop was vetoed by Validity, break the change at that cell
and stop, or reject the entire change (and undo what was done so far), ignore
invalid changes, test all cells before changing anything (costly but maybe
easier to implement), something else..

I wouldn't worry about "when the cell has a value and the validation is applied
later", Validity always is applied upon the next input, never to existing data.
