[Libreoffice] Formula cursor : bug or feature ?

Hi,

It seems that the formula cursor does not work if "Enable experimental
(unstable) features" checkbox is checked in Tools > Options >
LibreOffice > General.

Is it a bug or a feature ?
I never had problem with the cursor formula in OOo.
