What dialog exactly, tools->macros->organize macros->basic ? FWIW that's
working here. 

Might get a more useful backtrace with...


gdb /mnt/newdisk/loffice/install/program/soffice.bin
(gdb) run -writer
get it to crash, and then type "bt", i.e.
(gdb) bt
