Mmmmmmm.

Be careful describing Gaelic as Scots. Scots is actually a language in
its own right - a variant of English!

(A bit of history - Scots is the language spoken in the lowlands, where
the people are descended from the Angle invaders. These were the
Sassenachs. The entire history of this area is well confusing - for
example Scotia (from where the Scots take their name) is actually
Ireland! And the whole area has changed massively in recent centuries
what with mass migration, ethnic cleansing, etc etc)

(And English is the language spoken by the Saxons! :-)

Cheers,
Wol
