I didn't want to remove it completely (at least for now); someone told me
the code could still be useful as an educational tool.
There may also be some users who will not be aware of the change until
the next version of LO is released.

I doubt Software AG is interested; the freeware version of Adabas D has a big
version gap with the latest release. IMHO the code is abandonware and they
only provide it by habit / because they had a special deal with Stardivision
and/or Sun in the past.
