Hi there,

I'd like to cherry-pick the following commit

to the libreoffice-3-3 branch.

This fixes

and a duplicate is filed in

Just to highlight that many users seem to hit this problem in 3.3, hence
the need to backport to the 3.3 branch.

Sorry about the renaming of a function that may make reviewing of this
patch a bit harder.
