I just fixed this late last night.  The crash was due to a buffer
overrun of an array which was simple to fix, though I don't know why it
didn't cause a crash on Linux, but anyways...

But there was another bug, which caused chart objects to not properly
get imported.  That one required a little bit of effort, but it is fixed
also.

I read the page, and to the best of my ability your mapping makes sense.
