mdds to be updated to 0.6.0

Hi folks,

Just FYI that I'll be working to update mdds to 0.6.0 today (on master). 
  This means that, if you pull and do an incremental build sometime 
today, it may fail in mdds if the timing is bad.  If it does, please 
re-run configure and do a clean build again.

I'll let you guys know when the work finishes.
