One general problem with migration was a bug in configmgr code as
described in <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46074>
"FILEOPEN: No Recent Documents...," hitting many users recently because
(a) on Linux, moving the user installation from ~/.libreoffice/3 to
~/.config/libreoffice/3 for LO 3.5.0 caused migration for all users
coming from a previous < 3.5.0, and (b) on Mac OS X and Windows, a bug
caused "migration" of the existing user installation onto itself to
happen on every program start (cf.
<http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?h=libreoffice-3-5-1&id=76e0d695a41326a5583dbc9702e0ce3b8219b514>
"Move migrateSettingsIfNecessary into create_user_install").
That is, I would expect the number of problems with migration to go down
significantly again in the near future (once all people who have been
hit by the above have cleared their current user installation, see
<https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46074#c32>).
