[REVIEW-3-5] Fix wrong vcl alpha blending

Hi there,

fixes a somewhat nasty bug in the vcl alpha vdev blending algo, see
attached bugdoc (and start slideshow) to see the problem.

Big kudos to Muthu for pointing my nose repeatedly at the faulty
code, and insisting it is indeed wrong. ;)
