ENABLE_SYMBOLS=true does nothing

 ./configure --enable-symbol
 ./configure CXXFLAGS='-Os -g'

 Where's the difference in that?

 How exactly do you envision a runtime trigger that activates binary 
incompatibility? Because that's exactly what makes dbgutil different from 
debug.
