Weird.
I don't know exactly what is going wrong, but typically what people do 
for LO is to put all of their configure options into a file called 
"autogen.input"
So the beginning of my file looks like:
--without-doxygen
--disable-odk
--enable-dbgutil
--enable-werror

And then simply run autogen like this:
  ./autogen.sh
